Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

…None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand. Daniel 12:10

Looking back over events of the year 2020, a new understanding of the phrase 20/20 vision hindsight dawned upon me. The four horses of the book of Revelation and their riders appeared to be riding in the Earth, concurrently…

Sealed Until…

In 539 BC, having fasted and prayed for 3 weeks, Daniel was given a vision of the time of the end. Many details were disclosed to him, details which some are convinced fully came to pass long, long ago. Others await their fulfillment. Significant to Daniel were the words spoken to him regarding the interpretation of the vision:

Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Daniel 12:9

Some 600 years later, the apostle John recorded the words of the vision given to him:

And I saw in the right hand of him who sits upon the throne, a scroll inscribed from the inside and from the outside, and sealed with seven seals. Revelation 5:1

The operative word regarding the interpretation of both men’s visions is SEALED. The prophetic words were sealed.

The prophecies of both Daniel and John were not to be understood until the time of the end, as that which has been sealed must first be unsealed before it can be understood.

Peter, referencing John’s freshly publicized vision, the revelation of Jesus Christ, as “…a more sure word of prophecy…” says regarding it:

…pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. 2Peter 1:19

The question becomes, “When is the time of the end?”

Jesus had detailed several horrific events and ominous warnings to His disciples in Matthew chapter 24, concluding:

Amen, I say to you that this generation will not pass away until all these things happen. Matthew 24:34

Clearly, His words were witnessed by His followers as the Romans besieged and decimated Jerusalem in the seven year war between 67 and 73 AD. Just as clearly as a time of the end occurred for a fraction of the population of the Earth who dwelled in a couple of hundred square miles, so too a time of the end would yet occur for the entirety of mankind who dwelled throughout the whole Earth.

Many have wished to foretell the future to satisfy their curiosity or abate their fears by interpreting the meaning and/or the timing of the visions. Through clever exegesis and exposition of the writings of Daniel and John (along with a whole lot of SPECULATION), every imaginable scenario has been played out… EXCEPT the one that is contained behind the seals – the one that is actually going to occur.

Regarding that day, we do know this: according to Revelation 5:5-9, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, the Lamb who was slain is the One Who opens the seals

Consider this: Is prophecy only given for foretelling/forewarning purposes? Is another purpose of prophecy that of after-the-fact confirmation?

This is That…

After His resurrection and prior to His ascension, Jesus commanded His apostles:

not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for The Promise of The Father. Acts 1:4

Judeans from many nations had gathered in Jerusalem to celebrate the Spring feasts: Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost). When the days of Pentecost were fulfilled and all the disciples were assembled together, there came a sound from Heaven like a mighty wind. The disciples were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in several tongues. People in the city who had heard the noise came to investigate, astonished to discover Galileans speaking in their own languages.

Peter addressed the crowd saying, “…This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel…” and proceeded to quote:

‘It shall be done in the last days’, says God, ‘I shall pour out my Spirit on everybody, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions and your Elders shall dream dreams. And I shall pour out my Spirit upon my Servants and upon my handmaids and in those days they shall prophesy. And I shall give signs in the Heavens and miracles in The Earth, blood, fire and plumes of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood until the great and awesome day of THE LORD JEHOVAH will come. And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of THE LORD JEHOVAH shall receive life.’ Joel 2:28-32a, circa 800 BC

It is anyone’s guess as to how many times the disciples, or any of those in attendance, may have read that passage prior to the events of that day. Who knows what they may have interpreted that passage to mean, let alone when they may have speculated it would come to pass? Once the events had occurred, though, it was made evident to Peter that God had “poured out His Spirit” just as it had been prophesied, and the prophecy was being fulfilled in their midst. Peter could look about and declare, “…This is that…”

Consider this prophesy from John’s Revelation:

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:1-8, pre-66 AD

Some have put the prophecy of the four (4) horses and their riders of Revelation to rest, attempting to explain how all the elements of the vision of John are included with Jesus’ words of Matthew 24, events that had come to pass by 70 AD with the Roman razing of Jerusalem. For those who insist on holding such an interpretation, as you read the words that follow, contrast an area comprising a few hundred square miles in which several hundred thousand inhabitants lived in 70 AD with the whole Earth and its population of nearly 8 billion souls in the year 2020…

Others have joined in the many efforts made over the centuries to interpret the prophecy as an event that is yet to occur, but likely long after we are dead and gone. Vivid imagery depicting possible future scenarios that might qualify as a fulfillment of such a prophecy has filled many pockets, bank accounts, books, lecture halls, sanctuaries and movie theaters.

By the Spring of 2020, as the whole world was being fed the grandest deception it had ever experienced, instead of being convinced that there would be no more fulfillment of any Biblical prophecies, or of having my eyes fixed solely on the road ahead, continuing to wonder and anticipate what harbingers might lie over the next hill, I paused just long enough to glance about me. The entire Earth was being impacted by events that suddenly, when compared to Revelation 6:1-8, took on a completely different meaning.

I realized I was experiencing that same after-the-fact recognition that Peter had spoken of in Acts chapter 2, where “…This is that…”

2020 Vision Hindsight

UPDATE 2021: Looking back upon the events of the prior year, I have an entirely new understanding of the phrase, 20/20 Vision Hindsight. I spoke the phrase to my daughter regarding the events of 2020 using the common English language metaphor for after-the-fact realization or recognition. I still hadn’t made the literal connection. Her eyes lit up as she had the revelation:

  • What year? 2020 (20/20)
  • John’s Revelation = vision
  • Looking back = hindsight

(Come on – Admit it: This is near unbelievable word play.)

4 Horses – 4 Colors

IMPORTANT – Each horse of the prophecy is distinguished from the other horses solely by its color. The horses are merely the vehicles that spread and deliver their respective payloads. Those payloads are the riders, the agents that effect change.

The horses are riding concurrently, not sequentially. It is not written that one horse returns to its stable before the next horse rides. How long have they been riding? Read on and decide for yourself…

Quick view:

  • The White Horse is the religion of Healthcarism and its business division, the Medical Industrial Complex. Its Rider conquers with a crown, and carries a bow with no mention of arrows.
  • The Red Horse is Revolution and its Rider removes peace from the Earth, resulting in the slaying of men. He is given a great sword.
  • The Black Horse is the uncompromising racial/social agenda. Its Rider, along with equating a days wage to the ingredients for a loaf of bread and another days wage to the ingredients for a bowl of soup, changes basic values, including the redefining of words and meanings.
  • The Pale Horse is the Green Movement / Sustainable Development and its Rider is Death…

The WHITE Horse

…a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer… Rev 6:2

The classic interpretation of this verse views a futuristic horse and rider as representing Christ, though others contend it may represent an antiChrist.

The color white, thought to be an amalgamation of all colors, is often thought of as intensely bright light. White is the color of choice for a variety of consumables, from paper to underclothing to porcelain. The color white has been co-opted to reference fair-skinned people of European descent. In that context, the word “white” has become the political byword for all that is wrong with the world. Historically, white has been associated with purity and cleanliness. As a color, it is well-known to be visually representative of the medical and pharmaceutical industries, immediately associated with ambulances, nursing uniforms, , hats and helmets, bandages, the coats of doctors, pharmacists and lab technicians, sterile rooms, medical aid organizations and more. Notably, the color white is also associated with the flag of surrender.

In March of 2020 spokespersons of private, for profit corporations speaking on behalf of the healthcare industry decreed to mankind that immediate shelter must be taken in order to hide from an invisible enemy, an alleged corona (Latin for crown) virus, so named for the shape of the spike protein associated with the so-called virus. For insight into this grand deception, see my article Sickness and Disease.

The white horse (the vehicle of healthcare) carries a rider (the agent of change) who has an archer’s bow*. Importantly, no arrows are ever mentioned. He is given a crown (Latin: corona) with which he goes forth conquering (not slaughtering, not even sickening). With the threat of consequence (bow), yet without a single shot being fired (no arrows), a corona (crown) was used to conquer the peoples of the earth.

coronavirus with crown

The year 2020 opened with a WORLDWIDE coup d’état of unprecedented proportion where approximately 3 billion people stayed home from work, joining nearly 5 billion more who were already there, voluntarily subjugating themselves to sheltering-in-place, face covering/mask wearing and social distancing. Healthy people, not sick people, were quarantined.

In lieu of the barbarous violence visited upon peoples of old by totalitarian regimes in order to submit populations to their control, mankind was simply lied to* and nearly everyone on Earth believed the lie!

While people submitted themselves to house arrest, restricted movement and avoidance of one another, a massive upgrade to the electrical communication grid was occurring. Fourth generation technology (4G) was being upgraded to fifth generation technology (5G) to handle the volume of data necessary to support the coming surveillance state. As Dr. Robert Young and others have pointed out, 5G transmitters emit an “always on” electrical discharge referred to as a “corona.” The electromagnetic frequencies (aka EMF or microwave radiation) associated with this technology, a technology we have become all too familiar with over the last 120 years, represent both known and unknown dangers. Chronic radiation exposure is toxic to biological life, as it is cumulative. The frequencies that are being transmitted have the capability of disrupting – even terminating – life.

As Dr. Andrew Kaufman and others have pointed out, our bodies are highly electrically sensitive. Were it not so, EEGs and ECGs would be utterly ineffective. And yet, rather than vilify a real and present danger, men prefer to believe in a non-existent enemy. Curiously, the (original*) symptoms presented to the world of so-called COVID-19 disease, the images of Chinese people suddenly seizing and dropping to the ground, dead, mimic the symptoms of radiation exposure and high altitude (aka “mountain”) sickness. Of course, later, symptoms of any sort would be associated with the alleged disease before finally settling on flu-like symptoms. But not to worry. Pharmaceuticals would soon be available for everyone.

…Babylon The Great City will be thrown down…for by your sorceries you deceived all the nations! Revelation 18:21,23

The rider of the white horse went forth conquering. The symbol acknowledging your subjugation and humiliation, the visual identifier of your submission to the crown (corona), is the face covering.

The white horse is afoot.

The RED Horse

…another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword… Rev 6:4

The classic interpretation of this verse views a futuristic horse and rider as representing war.

Red, the color of spilled blood, has been identified throughout history as a symbol of revolution, of battle with no option of surrender. In recent times, and rightly so, red has been identified with and has become the adopted color of political communism and ideological socialism.

John wrote that the red horse (the vehicle of revolution) carries a rider (the agent of change) who is empowered to remove peace from the earth. Remove, not merely diminish. That removal of peace results in men slaying one another. Unlike the rider of the white horse, the red rider does not not carry a bow with no arrows; he is given a great sword. Do not be timid in your imaginings; blades cut and sever and are used for slaughter, massacre and extermination.

Jesus Himself said,

I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:24

Predictions, imminent threats and outbreaks of civil unrest, rioting, violent revolution, counter-revolution, insurrection and war are so commonplace today they have all but filled the vacancy left by peace. In households and throughout neighborhoods, communities, villages, cities, states and nations discourse has been replaced by discord, anger has been nurtured into hatred and murder, covetousness and lust have produced resentment, bitterness and entitlement.

Consider all that yet stands in the way of the full implementation of the New World Order for one indication of who will be next to be overthrown. More to the point, look for the people who have been warned repeatedly to turn to God and away from their love of worldly pleasures, who love their own lives and themselves more than they love God and others, who even love their own countries more than they love the kingdom of God, who sin and sin and sin with every imaginable justification.

We find ourselves once again at the brink of world war, as tensions between nations rise to an all-time high. As with any over-stretched string, over-bent branch or over-inflated balloon it becomes a matter of time before another violent event occurs.

We have been told that The Great Reset is upon us. This is the dawn of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Everything will be changed.

(As of 2020) The World Economic Forum (WEF) admits on their website, “Using COVID to harness the power of revolution…” and declares “…the Fourth Industrial Revolution may indeed have the potential to robotize humanity and thus deprive us of our heart and soul.” The United Nations (UN) informs us, “The present vast overpopulation…must be met in the present by the reduction of numbers presently existing. This must be done by whatever means necessary.”

(As of 2021) One word aptly says it all: Juneteenth.

And the red horse rides.

The BLACK Horse

…a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine… Rev 6:5-6

The classic interpretation of these verses views a futuristic horse and rider as representing famine.

Black is thought to be the absence of color; the absence of light. Black is the color of night, the color of darkness. Black has been used effectively as a visually distinctive color, such as in black ink, black trim, black attire, black sedan, etc. The color black is associated with a subset of dark skinned people, specifically of African descent. The word “black” has been politically co-opted to represent oppression and discrimination, both perceived and real, specifically in scenarios where “blacks” are the oppressed and “whites” are the oppressors. Organizations and groups such as the Black Panthers, Black Lives Matter, Muslim Brotherhood and Antifa have formed in violent opposition to the status quo, and proudly co-opt the color black.

The rider (the agent of change) of the black horse (the vehicle of the black agenda), carries a set of balance scales in his hand. New values, to be understood both literally and figuratively, are established throughout the earth. The price for a 2-quart measure of wheat is set at a day’s wage. The price for three 2-quart measures of barley is set at yet another day’s wage. This establishes an agreed upon balance that pairs a days labor with a meager allotment of food, so meager as to make current definitions of poverty look enticing. The de-valuation of labor makes the term “economic collapse” appear as an understatement. Yet valuations well beyond slaving for a loaf of bread have been, are being and will be altered.

Law 8 of The Georgia Guidestones states, “Balance personal rights with social duties.”

Not wasting a moment to advance the agenda of the Black horse, the World Economic Forum has announced the imminent Great Reset, having informed us that, “…a new social contract needs to emerge from this crisis that rebalances deep inequalities…”, inequalities that have emerged (or will yet emerge) as repercussions of the worldwide pandemic. Inequalities are believed to be the source of societal conflicts, so it follows that their proposed solution to overcome economic inequality is the Universal Basic Income. This is described as an income that each and every citizen receives regardless of employment or financial status.

September 9, 2020 – The UN Secretary-General said, “We must turn the recovery from the pandemic into a real opportunity to build a better future.”

But the revaluations are not just economic, as every imaginable rebellious group is hitching his or her respective wagon to the black horse. The values of yesterday are being replaced with new values.

You turn things upside down! Isaiah 29:16

The days are upon us where men call good evil and evil good, and replace light with darkness and darkness with light. They put sweetness for bitter and bitter for sweet. Up is down, down is up, right is left, left is right, he is she, she is he, true is false and false is true. Disobedience goes unpunished, laziness is rewarded, rebellion is glorified and hatefulness is celebrated. Values of honesty, integrity, accountability, work ethic, family, and the like have been overthrown and replaced with entitlement, social justice, white guilt, gender fluidity, and more.

Individualism is replaced with Collectivism. Capitalism is replaced with Happytalism (I wish I was kidding). Police are replaced with Surveillance Systems, Contact Tracing and snitch networks. Merit and Accomplishment are replaced with Social Credit Scoring. Common sense is replaced with the New Normal.

The black horse is about to break into a run.

* The PALE Horse

… a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth… Rev 6:8

The classic interpretation of this verse views a futuristic horse and rider as representing death.

Nearly every English translation of Revelation 6:8 identifies the fourth horse associated with the fourth seal as being pale. Pale is not generally thought of as a color, as are white, red and black. To be included in such a listing should provoke investigation. Sadly, there is so much momentum behind the notion of a pale horse, so much has been invested into this idea that no one is questioning the obvious gross error of such a mistranslation. Many go so far as to introduce the adverb sickly to the description, steering the listener to envision a diseased, ashen gray horse. But what is actually written?

The word pale occurs only twice in the King James Version of the Bible; once here in Revelation 6:8 and again in Isaiah 29:2, where God says, “…Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale.”

In that Isaiah passage the Hebrew the word for pale is…

חָוַר (khaw-var’)

This Hebrew word descriptively translates into English as “to blanch” or “to turn white”, thus “pale.”

In the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Old Testament), the Greek phrase used to describe Jacob’s face not waxing pale is…

προσωπον μεταβαλει (prosōpon metabalay)

This phrase roughly translates into English as a change in countenance or appearance. Thus, “pale.”

Yet this phrase is not used in any of the Greek texts of John’s Revelation, only in the Greek translation of Isaiah 29:2. The Greek word used to describe the appearance of the fourth horse of Revelation 6:8 is…

χλωρος (chloros)

This same Greek word appears in both Matthew 14:19 and Mark 6:39 where Jesus instructed the multitude to “…sit down upon the green grass.” This same Greek word appears in Genesis 1:30 of the Septuagint to describe “…every green herb…”, referring to the vegetation God had created.

If you have not yet guessed it, the Greek word for the color green is:

χλωρος (chloros)

Hint for English speakers: upon hearing “chloros”, think “chlorophyll.”

Jesus most certainly did not tell the crowds to sit upon the pale grass or the sickly grass, nor is it recorded in Genesis that God created every pale herb.

In all the above passages where the Greek uses the word chloros, the Aramaic of the Peshitta, the worlds oldest complete Bible, uses the word…

יורקא (yurraq)

The Aramaic word also translates into English as the color green.

Thus, it is most certainly NOT a pale horse, after all, that carries Death. It is a green horse! How interesting…

The GREEN Horse

…a green horse, and he who sat upon him had the name of Death, and Shiul followed after him. And there was given to him power over the fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with famine, and with death, and with the toothed beast of the earth… Rev 6:8 (Etheridge, 1846)

In modern vernacular green is the new righteousness. Environmentalism has become a sophisticated, worldwide religion. Yesterday’s activists are today’s high priests and priestesses who worship the earth as their goddess. According to this new priesthood, the earth is disquieted by {insert environmental topic-du-jour} and is currently in a sad rage. In this new religion, unrighteous behavior includes all that is considered to be abusive to the Earth, such as driving gasoline-powered vehicles, burning wood or coal for heat or energy, eating meat, breathing, etc.

UNited vision of a green earth

A limit of tolerance has apparently been reached. According to the devotees, only drastic and radical steps can hope to appease the angry goddess, if it is not already too late. These steps have been formally identified and 17 goals of sustainable development have been set by the UN to severely curtail the lives of all but the most elite. Only massive population reduction (depopulation) and imposition of an entirely New World Order (Great Reset) will guarantee a future of any kind. Their mission appears to be to return the earth to its rightful inhabitants, the wild animals.

UPDATE 2021: A new level of enforcement requires a new understanding of the standards needing to be met. To ensure a future that is both measurable and achievable, the ESG (environmental, social and governance) metrics have been introduced. No more “disparate silos.” Now everyone can play in the same sandbox, by the same rules. Those who do not yet understand (refuse to comply) will be assisted in their understanding, soon enough.

Green is certainly not limited to representing environmental issues, alone. Israel has stepped to the front of the line, being first to implement a nation-wide “new normal” compliance system. Presenting one’s “Green Pass” is now required in order to participate in society.

The rider (the agent of change) of the green horse (the vehicle of the so-called green movement) is named Death. Sheol, the place of the dead, follows him. Together they have access to a fourth of the earth and their mission is clear: to kill by the sword, starvation, plague / pestilence / sudden death and animals.

Consider this…

72% of the earth is covered by water, leaving 28% (approximately one fourth), of the Earth represented by land. If the sea creatures who inhabit approximately three quarters of the Earth are dealt with in accordance with Revelation 16:3…

And the second Angel poured his vessel into The Sea and The Sea became as dead, and every living animal in the sea died. Rev 16:3

…then the remaining one fourth of the Earth, the land, is apparently where the rider of the green horse focuses his attention.

The worldwide food supply, the supply chain and the distribution network(s) are being systematically destroyed under the cover of the Horses and their Riders, as part of The Great Reset. Farms, crops, livestock, warehouses, manufacturers, processors, etc are all being affected.  Food shortage (the gentle phrase for famine) is now inevitable.

The sound of the hoofbeats of the green horse are deafening.

Summary

Look about you and consider what is occurring: As of this writing (update) a so-called “Vaccine Passport” is being proposed and/or is already being implemented by participating nations, worldwide. In an overreach heretofore never experienced by mankind, the acknowledged intent is that of total population control. This extends far beyond the issue of travel or border crossings; it has already been effectively tested to filter everything from sporting event attendance to grocery store admittance. The Chinese have proposed they be selected to implement a worldwide “Civilization ID” modeled after their own country’s all-encompassing surveillance and Social Credit Scoring system.

This is that which was written by the apostle John…

* – Bow: The English word bow has many meanings. As a noun it may refer to an archer’s bow, a rainbow, a decorative bow made of ribbon, a two loop / two loose ends shoelace bow, or a horsehair bow for stringed instruments. As a verb, it means to bow down, or to yield as a sign of obeisance.

The word bow appears approximately 100 times in the English Bible. Approximately one-half of those occurrences refer to an archer’s bow. 4 times the word is used to refer to a rainbow. The balance of the occurrences refer to bending the knee.

The Hebrew word for an archer’s bow is קֶשֶׁת (qesheth), and appears roughly 50 times across 18 books of the Old Testament.

The Aramaic word is similar: קשתא (qeshtah). It can be found in the Peshitta Old Testament in the same locations as the Hebrew word, and also occurs once in the Peshitta New Testament, in Revelation 6:2.

The Greek word for an archer’s bow is τοξον (toxon). In the Greek Septuagint (Old Testament) it appears in the same locations as the Hebrew and Aramaic words do. It also appears only once in the Greek New Testament, and that is in Revelation 6:2.

NOTE: If you were wondering if the Greek word used in Revelation 6:2 to refer to an archer’s bow (toxon) might be related to the English word toxin, you would be correct. The English word toxin can trace its origins back to the Greek word τοξικον (toxikon), which refers to the poison of a poison-tipped arrow.

* – Lied to: Revelation 18:21,23 tells us that “…Babylon The Great City will be thrown down… for by your sorceries you deceived all the nations!”

* – Original: After China’s introduction and demonstration of their 5G implementation in Wuhan City during the World Military Games of 2019, the world was introduced to images of people dropping to the ground, deprived of oxygen. In January of 2020 ships belonging to the Princess Cruise line, among the first to implement 5G onboard, reported on hundreds of passengers who had complained of respiratory distress. Several people died.
